Track and Field (quit)

Thu Feb 19, 2009, 2:03 PM
I dont know but my life and track are about to end pretty quickly and I dont want it to. I hurt my leg some how and dont know how I hurt my knee. I know it started acting wierd when pre season started a month and a half ago. just yesterday I was running 3 miles around the track and all of a sudden when I was done my leg was hurting. Then I ride back home on my bike. My knee felt as though it was being stabbed by a knife each time I peddled. I got back home and I look at my legs in the mirror, saw my left knee was swollen. Still today its hurts to walk. I told my coach and he told me that I needed to take the day off today but come and check with him tomorrow morning. LOL yay like that will help. Mom told me that if my knee doesn't heal in a week I have to quit track. When she told me that I was already shocked. I dont want to quit track. I dont want to end my running because of my knee. Hopefully I will heal fast. I dont want to quit.
